In July 2025, Siobhan took the plunge and signed up for Online Makeup Academy to better her skills as a "Jack of All Trades" makeup artist. As she has progressed through the 19 modules, Siobhan has begun building her kit and branding as a freelance makeup artist.
Training
After being trained in theatre makeup, Siobhan used makeup Youtube to teach herself the foundations of street makeup. Becoming a product junkie, Siobhan wanted to get some formal training and understanding of why the things that worked for her did what they did. She also wanted to get expertise on working with clients so she could add even more skills to her repertoire, and help more people feel beautiful.
This is where OMA comes in. Through Online Makeup Academy's Elite Career Path, Siobhan has begun working her way through 19 modules on her way to a recognized Makeup Artistry certification. With the course, she also began a masterclass on Halloween Makeup Looks, strengthening the SFX knowledge she gained from work on productions like this is not the reunion (2024).

My Makeup Kit is eclectic yet organized, featuring products from professional and luxury brands, as well as small but mighty indie brands in various price ranges, all of the highest quality. She also keeps natural hair and synthetic brushes useful for all kinds of work.
When Siobhan uses and recommends products, she personalizes everything to the client, Siobhan is quite comfortable with creating regimens for sensitive skin and eyes and she makes an effort to keep her kit vegan and cruelty-free when possible.

Siobhan is also incredibly diligent about hygiene. She cleans her brushes between clients with Parian Spirit Brush Cleaner, and washes them every night using Dr. Bronner's Castille soap or Cinema Secrets Brush Soap.
