Pfeiffer Gala 2025

Theoretical Costume Design by Siobhan McNulty
Supervised by Julane Sullivan

At the conclusion of Julane Sullivan's class, "Costuming Unleashed" the students were tasked with creating a look for a hypothetical Met Gala-like event at North Central's famous Pfeiffer Hall. Due to the insanely high number of reported paranormal sightings in the building, the theme had to be haunted.

Analysis and Statement of Intent

Siobhan went a step further and based her look off of specific ghost stories from Pfeiffer's history. Particular highlights of this design include the deconstructed Victorian undergarment look inspired by the Lady in White, the watercolor palette based off The Little Girl and her water-swelling ways, the hints of red based on the blood-curdling Screamer and, of course, Yellow Boots (but sexy and see-through). Siobhan's very rough sketch gives an idea of her eye for aesthetics.
