Siobhan, over her years designing hair and makeup, has developed a strong intuition for how to style various types of hair to serve the actor's needs
Wigs and History
As Siobhan’s design skills have grown, so has her “Moira Rose-esque” collection of synthetic wigs. Siobhan’s love of historical research has made its way into several of her theatre designs, though usually muted because directors often find the completely historically accurate looks “too much” for modern audiences (the 1830s and 1760s being some of her favorite eras).
Siobhan is an expert at creating all kinds of curl patterns on synthetic wigs and she has only gotten stronger with creating complex pieces. She is also quite adept at braids and pincurls.
Continuing to Grow
Siobhan can also make lace facial hair pieces and repair both lace and hard front wigs by hand. She also loves detailing headpieces and fascinators.
This page is dedicated both to hair designs used in her hair/makeup theatrical designs as well as styling she has done in her free time or as part of theoretical projects. She plans to update as inspiration strikes.
